I have no idea how I ended up on kangaroos this morning. I think Frank must have been reading about them the other day, because he mentioned something about how cool they are in passing (unless I totally dreamt that, which is entirely possible). Anyway, my curiosity was piqued, so I turned to trusty Google, and came across this video of a kangaroo giving birth (not for the faint of heart - you’ve been warned). My midwestern public school education failed to teach me that marsupials give birth at a very early stage of development—the human equivalent of an embryo being born at 7 weeks gestation. Fascinating!
